How many children do you have?

Yesterday was really surreal. For the first time ever I was called in for Jury Duty. One of the questions on the form the clerk required us to fill out asked: “How many children do you have?” I couldn’t help wondering how I’m supposed to answer this. If we are 23.5 weeks today does that mean I should answer 23.5/40 or .59 children?
